Audit Sight makes managing data connections simple and transparent. This guide explains how to check if data is connected and synced, helping you stay informed throughout the process.

- Connection Status: Indicates if your client has successfully connected their data.
- Data Sync Status: Reflects what Audit Sight is doing with the data after it’s connected.

🕒 Last Sync Date
The Last Sync Date shows when Audit Sight successfully synced data from the connected system.
- For most systems, this represents the last time Audit Sight retrieved and processed data.
-
Blank Last Sync Date:
- If the Last Sync Date is blank, this means Audit Sight has never synced the data.
📌 Important Exception: QuickBooks Desktop
For QuickBooks Desktop, the Last Sync Date reflects the date of the QuickBooks backup file provided by the client, not the date the data was synced with Audit Sight.
- This unique behavior highlights the importance of ensuring the backup file is up-to-date.

-
Resyncing Data:
Data can only be resynced if the connection is active. If a connection is inactive or disconnected, syncing will stop until the connection is restored.
