- Desktop Connector: A one-time program to transmit your data.

Option 1: Using a QuickBooks Backup File (Strongly Recommended)
The QuickBooks Backup File (QBB) is the quickest and most efficient way to share your data with us. It minimizes disruptions to your business operations and ensures a seamless audit process.
Steps to Provide Your Backup File:

Send the Backup File:
- Include your Admin username and password (usually "Admin").

- Email your contact at the firm with the information and we can take it from their.
Option 2: Using the Desktop Connector
Warning! Depending upon the size of your Quickbooks file the initial sync could take hours.
The Desktop Connector is an alternative option for securely transmitting your data. This method may take longer and could temporarily slow down the performance of your QuickBooks Desktop environment.
Steps to Connect Using the Desktop Connector:

Look for Our Email:
Check your inbox for an email from support@auditsight.com with the subject line: Data Request.

Click the Link:
Open the email, verify the Company Name and Entity Name, and click the link to begin the connection. -
Download and Install the Connector:
Follow the on-screen prompts to download the program to your QuickBooks Desktop computer. -
Log In to QuickBooks Desktop:
Use your Admin username and password to log in. -
Grant Access:
QuickBooks will prompt you to allow Audit Sight access. Select Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running for the best experience.
