1. Overview of Integration
Audit Sight simplifies verifying your client's QuickBooks Desktop data with two connection methods:
-
QBB File Upload (Strongly Recommended):
Clients provide a QuickBooks Backup File (QBB) along with the Primary Admin username and password. This method is faster, easier for clients, and minimizes disruptions to their business operations.👉 For instructions on how to create a QBB backup file, refer to Backing Up QuickBooks Desktop.
-
Desktop Connector:
Clients download a program to transmit their data. However, this method may significantly slow down company performance during the sync process and takes longer to complete. It must also be repeated for each data refresh.
2. Data Availability 📊
-
Data Pulled:
- Transaction details
- Financial statements
- Customer and Vendor Activities including AR and AP Aging data
- Default Data Range: Last 36 months of data.
