How to Connect Sage Intacct to Audit Sight 🚀
Look for Our Email 📧
- Check your inbox for an email from support@auditsight.com with the subject line: Data Request and the name of the firm inviting you.
- The email will look like this:
Click the Link 🔗
- Open the email and click the provided link to begin the connection flow.
Enable Web Services 🛠️
- Navigate to Applications > Company > Admin > Subscriptions and enable Web Services.
- Note: A pop-up message may appear warning about potential additional fees. This is a general notification and does not apply to the Web Services subscription, which is free.
Authorize the Sender ID 🔒
- Under Applications > Company > Setup > Configuration > Company, set the Sender ID to "Railz" and the Status to Active.
Select an existing Role or add a new Role 👤

- Select an existing read-only or admin role: This is the simplest path.
- Create a new role as needed: Name the role (e.g. AuditSightReadOnly) and enable List, View, and/or Run permissions for each object as described in the connect flow.
Create a Web Services User 👤

- Go to Company > Admin tab > Web Services users
- Enter the following details:
- Email Address: Use an accessible business email.
- User Type: Business.
- Admin Privileges: Full (Limited may work)
Save, Check for Confirmation Email 📧

- You will receive an email from noreply@intacct.com with the subject line: Welcome to Sage Intacct!
- This email contains the Company ID, User ID, and Password for the web service user.
Associate the new (or existing) Role with the Web Service user
Complete the Connection 🎉

- Enter the credentials (Company ID, User ID, and Password) in the Audit Sight connection page to complete the setup.
- For multi-entity clients, repeat the process for each entity.
