📝 User Onboarding & To-Do List
Our updated user journey is designed to keep you focused and help you complete your tasks effortlessly. Each “to-do” item includes a direct link, guiding you exactly where to go within Audit Sight.
Key Reminders:
- Create Engagements and Entities for each client.
- Add Banking and Accounting Data to your client's entities.
- Map Bank Accounts to GL Accounts to support the liquidation and matching process.
- Follow Up on Missing Banking Data with auto emailing to your client.
🔍 Managing Missing Banking Data
Missing data is now easier to identify and resolve. Access a dedicated Data Gaps tab for quick insights on missing statements or accounts without data. We’ve also included automated email drafts for rapid outreach.
How It Works:
- Inside each client or engagement, go to the new Data Gaps tab.
- A “To Do” alert will appear at the top if any data is missing.
- Draft Email Button: Click to generate an email for client follow-up, complete with relevant details.
🔄 Reversing Journal Entries
Our algorithm now flags reversing entries in your cash proof workpapers. This enhancement, with added columns for visibility, allows you to review and differentiate business transactions from timing items effectively.
How It Works:
- The Reversing Journal Entry Algorithm spots entries made on the same or next day with matching debits, credits, and opposing amounts.
- Navigate to the Journal Entry Tab inside any workpaper to view flagged entries.
