While Audit Sight can connect to over 11,000 banks, not all banks are supported. We also know that your clients might not want to provide connections to their bank. That's why Audit Sight built the ability to ingest PDF bank statements.
Audit Sight will use OCR technology and machine learning to process data usable for its automated tests. During our processing of the document we also look for suspicious activity including:
- Incomplete transaction data
- Invalid amounts
- Balance missing pages
- Photoshopped data
In this article, we discuss how you can upload your Client’s PDF Bank Statements.
Step 1: Navigate to your Client via the sidebar and click “Documents”
Step 2: Using the dropdown menu, select “Uploads” and click “Upload Files”
Step 3: Choose what PDF Bank Statements to upload and click “Submit”
Note: It is important that the correct entity is chosen when uploading documents.
Step 4: View Status of Accounts.
Once your document have been uploaded you can see the status updated in real time. You will also receive an email notification once the files have been processed and are ready to be included for testing.
